2022 Leinster Track & Field Day2

20th June 2022

Well if we thought yesterdays haul of 17 medals including 6 gold was good at the Leinster Juvenile Track & Field championships, Gowran AC athletes went and topped that by winning 19 medals on day 2, including 5 more gold medals 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇, and with that 19 more All-Ireland qualifications. This puts Gowran close to the top in the running for overall best club performance in Leinster (Mick Quinn Cup – U12-15), so we eagerly wait to see how we finished on the league table.

James Kelsey had a double gold in winning the U15 high jump and the Triple Jump, while Charlie Ryan picked up 3 medals to join Rachel Gardener and Noah Denieffe as triple championship medal winners.
