Track and Field
The 2nd day of County Track and Field got underway yesterday morning with our seniors up first running under grey skies, rain and wind, which didn’t their dampen spirits as they competed in the 3000m, 400m, 800m and 4x100m relay. Gowran came 3rd in the shield competition so huge congratulations to all seniors who competed over the two days of track and field events.

Juvenile Results
It was another fun packed afternoon for our eager juveniles as they donned their red and white club colours to participate with great enthusiasm in their track and field events. It was a fantastic opportunity for many to try new events and added to the brilliant result of 2nd place for Gowran in the Juvenile Shield. As always a huge thank you to the parents and coaches for the support and help to organise the kids on these busy days and also to all the officials for making it all come together. Massive congratulations and well done to all Gowran athletes for participating over the 2 days and we look forward to another fun filled evening next Friday when our academy athletes have their turn to shine…
