Ruth had quality competition in the Junior girls but Ruth showed her experience in XC racing and won first place with ease.
We had a great turn out in the Men and Women’s race with 2 teams in the men’s, both winning medals and 1 team in the women’s.
The women’s race was led by Adele Walsh but Gowran ACs Caitriona Corr ran a super race coming 3rd.

The men’s race had lots of competition with Robbie Magee securing 3rd place, followed by Pat Kavanagh in 4th. The course was a struggle from start to finish due to the overnight rain and it was a true test of endurance and strength.
